Project description The subject covers signal processing with a focus on the development and optimization of algorithms for the processing of one- and multi-dimensional signals that are closely related to applications and applied research. The group conducts research in the areas of inference and wireless communication, involving both acoustic and radio signals. We now offer an opportunity to participate in a dynamic, international research environment in close collaboration with industry and leading universities worldwide. Duties and responsibilities You will participate in a project conducting research in wireless communication and signal processing. The project focuses on the challenge of positioning using reconfigurable reflective metasurfaces (RIS). The project aims to make measurements and to develop a prototype demonstrator using RIS and software defined radio (SDR) devices for positioning algorithms in our communication laboratory. Qualifications The applicant should have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with experience in MATLAB programming, SDR programming, and in controlling RIS devices.
