Would you like to contribute to the sustainable metal production of the future?

We are now seeking a coordinator for the Process Metallurgy research group, where we conduct research on how metals can be extracted and recycled in a more sustainable way—from raw materials to finished metal—as well as how byproducts can be recycled. We collaborate closely with industry and use advanced equipment and analytical methods to develop the processes of tomorrow. Today, Process Metallurgy consists of more than 30 researchers and doctoral students who need your help to continue developing our work.

As a coordinator in Process Metallurgy, you will primarily assist the program director in coordinating operations and participate in, plan, and follow up on program activities. Your responsibilities will include coordinating meetings, visits, and other events. The role is broad and independent and requires sound judgment, high integrity, and a strong ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a complex environment, with support from the team. You will also be involved in the practical coordination, implementation, and follow-up of activities within various research projects, as well as assisting with student recruitment and academic administration as needed.

Your responsibilities will include project coordination to support department representatives and project managers, as well as planning, coordinating, and organizing meetings, visits, and other events related to research projects.

We are looking for someone who is calm, attentive, and approachable in their interactions, and who has the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and contribute to delivering solutions and solving problems in a structured manner. It is essential that you have strong analytical skills and can solve problems both independently and in collaboration with others. You work well with others and take responsibility for your tasks. You are organized and take initiative in your work, and you have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively, as well as to set and meet deadlines. You are someone who sees opportunities in change and adapts easily to changing circumstances. You enjoy having fun at work, contribute to a positive work environment, and are a good team player.

The position requires:
