About the service
We are now looking for an experienced procurer for the University Office who can strengthen and develop our team to meet the university's future needs in an expansive, exciting and challenging field. The University Office houses the university's legal function, procurement function and the archive and registry function. The procurement function is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the university's procurement activities and that procurement procedures take place in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. At the university, approximately 80 advertised procurements are carried out per year.
The position as a procurer involves, among other things, being responsible for keeping you informed about the need for future procurements, managing and running the university's procurements from planning to agreements, as well as educating and informing the business about current agreements, laws, purchasing and procurement procedures. You will work closely with the business to be able to give our managers, employees, researchers and teachers the best possible support in procurement matters. The procurement function's mission also includes follow-up and analysis of purchasing behaviour, follow-up of existing agreements and development of the procurement function's internal aids in the form of templates, website and contract databases. The work includes many contacts at different levels within the university as well as with suppliers and other external parties.
You have an academic degree, or other education we deem equivalent, in a relevant field such as purchasing, law or finance.
You have several years of experience in public procurement and have conducted procurements within various procedures. Meritorious is if you have worked as a procurer within a government authority. It is also advantageous if you have good knowledge of procurement law.
You have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English.
You are curious, driven, have high integrity and easily create and maintain good relationships.
In addition to this, you have a solution-oriented approach, good analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
