We are now looking for a project controller responsible for working with budgets, forecasts, follow-up and financial statements for one or more research topics. You will be part of an administrative unit with staff working with finance, education, HR and business administration, led by an administrative manager. The unit is a common resource for the entire organization, providing administrative support to management, researchers, teachers, research students and students. Your main responsibilities will include: - Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial statements at departmental, research subject and project level - Ongoing accounting, project follow-up and reporting to various funders - Assisting with financial calculations and working closely with the Head of Department, researchers and project leaders on research applications and presentations - Present the department's and research subjects' finances in various contexts - Assist with decision-making and communicate with funders and other stakeholders As a project controller with us, you are part of the department's finance function together with a controller, a number of project controllers and financial administrators. You will also be part of the university's network for project controllers. Qualifications The position requires a university degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting. If you have worked with accounting for a few years and/or have experience of project accounting, this is an advantage. The work requires good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. We attach great importance to your personal qualities, which are characterized by good cooperation skills and a great sense of service. You are results-oriented, analytical, have a structured approach to work and find it easy to build good relationships with people around you. Furthermore, you must be able to work independently, be a driving force for change and take great responsibility for your work tasks. You must have the ability to be responsive to the support needs and requirements of management and the business. Scope and location We are looking for a project controller for permanent full-time employment in Luleå. You also have the opportunity to work remotely up to 40%.
