About the position
Do you want to work in a central role where you help to strengthen research activities through qualified financial work? We are now looking for a project controller who wants to be involved in developing our support for externally funded research projects - from application to audit.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the development and improvement of services related to the administration of externally funded research projects. You will work closely with the department's project controllers and in collaboration with the process managers of the central support for research funding (Grants Office).
Your tasks will include:
- Supporting and coordinating the department's reporting and auditing activities
- Developing and improving procedures and common ways of working in a complex multi-funder environment
- Provide support in the interpretation and application of regulations
- Supporting complex reporting that spans multiple activities
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is solution-oriented and has a holistic perspective. You have experience of working on externally funded research projects and good knowledge of financial regulations and auditing. You are a good communicator and used to working both independently and in close collaboration with others.
Qualifications
- A university degree in economics, preferably with a focus on accounting
- Good communication skills in both Swedish and English
- Experience in accounting or project accounting is required
- An analytical, structured and proactive approach
- Ability to cooperate, provide good service and be able to present clearly

Scope and location
We are looking for a project controller for a permanent position in the department of operational support. Your basic position is project controller, with assignments as project controller towards research funding. Location: Luleå. Starting as soon as possible or as agreed. Probationary period may be applied.
