Together with our landlord Akademiska Hus, we create modern and sustainable environments for education, research and collaboration.
Luleå University of Technology, together with our landlord Akademiska Hus, is currently taking a holistic approach to future-proof and develop the entire campus in Luleå with modern and sustainable environments for education, research and collaboration.
As a project manager, you will play a key role in this major transition. Several blocks on the university campus will be built and renewed with new exciting lab environments, office environments and inspiring student and learning environments. In the role, you are responsible for ensuring that the university's needs and visions are reflected in Akademiska Hus buildings. You are responsible for ensuring that the project is carried out with the right quality, within budget and on schedule. You work both strategically and closely with operations. You lead and support the project team. You coordinate the project with the Property and Services department's other activities. You will work in close cooperation with the University's representatives and management and report directly to the University Director.

Qualifications
The Project Manager role requires:
- You have a Master's degree in civil engineering with a focus on a construction technology field
- At least 4 years of experience in the role of project manager, including budget, resources and personnel, for construction projects in a university environment
- Experience in complex construction projects including offices and labs
- Good experience of client assignments in complex construction and conversion projects
- Good knowledge of Swedish building standards and regulations
- You should be able to express yourself easily in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English, and have good administrative skills
- You should find it easy to cooperate and build trust both internally in your own organization and externally with other organizations.
It is also an advantage if you have experience of being an expert in accessibility and experience of business development and business projects.
You need to be a person who appreciates a work situation with a high pace, hard pressure on the issues and many balls in the air at the same time.
Scope and location
We are looking for a Project Manager for permanent full-time employment based in Luleå. Probationary employment may be applied.
