Energy Technology at Luleå University of Technology develops technologies and processes for a sustainable energy supply, with a particular focus on biofuels and energy efficient solutions for industry and society. We are now looking for a project manager who wants to drive and further develop research in hydrogen value chains, integration between hydrogen and biomass, and advanced thermochemical processes such as gasification, pyrolysis and sustainable production of fuels and chemicals. The role includes leading research projects in electrolysis technologies in industrial settings, developing and demonstrating technology concepts together with national and European industrial partners, and disseminating research results in high-level forums. You work closely with researchers, PhD students and partners within LTU Green Fuels and Energy Science, participate in various R&D activities and contribute to the development of education. The work involves broad collaboration and active participation in an international and dynamic research environment with a strong focus on the energy transition. Qualifications Requirements - You should have an academic degree in physics, energy engineering or equivalent - You should have previous experience of working in administration - You have good written and oral communication skills and good knowledge of both Swedish and English - Experience in writing, coordinating and managing applications for national and EU-funded research and development projects - Experience in international research collaboration - You have experience in reading and understanding technical drawings and documentation Merits - Experience working in an international environment - Experience with MS Project or similar planning tools - Experience in research and development projects - Knowledge and experience in research and development in the field of hydrogen, gasification and pyrolysis of biomass Personal qualities We are looking for you who are analytical, structured and easy to build relationships. Scope and location We are looking for a project manager with a fixed-term full-time employment with the possibility of extension. Location is in Piteå, some work takes place in Luleå.
