For the Center for Distance Bridging Technology (CDT) at Luleå University of Technology, we are now looking for a project manager to strengthen our capacity in Skellefteå or Luleå. CDT focuses on research, development and innovation in digital technology in collaboration with business, academia and society in local, regional, national and international projects and programmes. Job duties At CDT, you will work in a driven team of project managers with the task of planning and leading national and international research and innovation collaborations with industry, institutes, universities and authorities. We offer an exciting and stimulating job with the goal of developing new knowledge and new innovations based on advanced digital technology within, among other things, smart societies, Cloud and Edge Computing, the Internet of Things, 5G/6G and Artificial Intelligence. In projects, we work closely together with the researchers at the university, companies, the public sector and civil society. Qualifications We believe you are proactive and interested in collaborating with the university's research areas in digitization and overall future areas/visions, as well as contributing to CDT's contact network with international, national and regional actors. You who apply have at least a university degree. You have work experience from academia, industry or the public sector with project activities as an important part. Merit is if you have a wide contact network within the IT industry in Norr- and Västerbotten counties and the rest of Norrland. Experience from work at or with research financiers is also meritorious, but not a requirement. You speak fluent Swedish and have good knowledge of English. As a person, you enjoy being; • Develop cooperation between researchers, companies, authorities and citizens • Design, lead and deliver projects in research, development and innovation • Apply for project funds from Swedish and international R&D financiers (for example the EU's framework programme, Vinnova, the Energy Agency, Formas and the EU's structural funds) • Appear in larger public national and international contexts as a representative of CDT's operations Information The position is a permanent employment of 100% scope and is located in Skellefteå or Luleå.
