Work tasks
Luleå University of Technology, LTU, has been given a strong position in the research proposition 2024, where the battery area is particularly highlighted. LTU has also been assigned a national responsibility to develop education for professionals in production linked to the green transition.
In 2025, five short courses will be developed with a focus on IT / OT integration in battery production. These are aimed both at the university's students and as contract training to industrial actors, with a potential market across Europe - especially in regions where there is investment in battery production.
To support this work, we are now looking for a resource with expert competence to contribute to the development and marketing of the courses on a project basis during 2025. The mission is to work closely with the Cyberphysical Systems subject and support course development in a collaborative context.
The five courses to be developed are:
- Overview course: The battery production value chain
- Production of active battery materials
- Production of battery cells
- Production of battery modules and packs
- Integration of batteries in vehicle production
All courses include a focus on cyber-physical systems and IT/OT integration.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have professional experience from the battery value chain and who can independently identify, plan, create conditions for and implement activities within a collaborative context.
Requirements:
- PhD degree
- Good knowledge of Swedish and European frameworks for research, education and innovation funding and practical experience of working within these
- Experience in the field of Production Systems and Production Automation Systems or equivalent.
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English
Academic and industrial networks in battery production, both nationally and internationally - preferably also in Horizon Europe's partner countries (for example Canada, Norway, Switzerland, the UK and South Korea)
We are looking for you who are result-oriented, proactive and confident in working in close dialogue with both academic and industrial partners.
Information about the position
The position is a temporary project position on a full-time basis until 25-12-31, with a location in Luleå. Start according to agreement.
