Luleå University of Technology (LTU), together with our landlord Akademiska Hus, is currently taking a holistic approach to future-proof and develop the entire campus in Luleå with modern and sustainable environments for education, research and collaboration.
We are now looking for a project manager with responsibility for the laboratory premises. You will be part of the group that leads the project and is responsible for the laboratory environments. We work closely with our researchers, teachers, business support and students to ensure that our new campus gives LTU the best possible conditions.
As a project manager, you will have a key role in this major transition. Several blocks on the university campus will be built and renewed with new exciting lab environments, office environments and inspiring student and learning environments. In the role, you are responsible for ensuring that the university's needs and visions are reflected in buildings that Akademiska Hus manages. You work both strategically and closely with operations. The work is done in close collaboration with the university's management and is directly subordinate to the university director.

Qualifications
The role of Project Manager for the Laboratory Facilities requires
- At least a high school diploma or 2-year vocational degree
- At least 5 years of experience in the role of project manager in HVAC and plumbing tight spaces
- At least a high school diploma or 2-year vocational degree
- Experience in client assignments in complex projects
- Good knowledge of construction and installation techniques
- You should be able to express yourself easily in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English, and have good administrative skills
- We value good collaboration skills and the ability to build trusting relationships internally and externally
Experience from university and college environment during the last 5 years is meritorious.
Meritorious is also experience of design in the installation technical areas such as, plumbing, electricity, etc.

Scope and location
We are looking for a project manager lab for permanent full-time employment with location in Luleå. Access according to agreement. Probationary employment may be applied.
