Operation and maintenance technology is a rapidly growing field of research and has a significant role for industry worldwide. For many industries, maintenance costs are one of the biggest costs in the business. Through well-planned maintenance, external and internal operational risks can also be controlled and minimized. Job duties We are looking for three people who will work together with other researchers to develop our platform 'AI Factory', in the department for operation and maintenance technology. The work is part of a number of externally financed projects in, among other things, railways, batteries, construction and mining. The development work will focus on developing AI algorithms, improving the visualization interface with AR, VR and gaming technologies as well as further developing our cyber security platform with Blockchain. The main task will be data collection, data security, data analysis and visualization using applicable methods and technologies in a cloud/edge based development environment. Qualifications To be eligible for employment, you must be a university-level student in maintenance technology, computer technology, technical physics, or equivalent. You must have academic credentials in data analysis, software development and cloud services and you should have experience with tools and environments such as, Python, Julia, Matlab, javascript, C#, Blockchain, Azure and Visual Studio. We place great importance on personal characteristics. As a person, you achieve results, communicate and collaborate with other people in a trusting manner. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Information Temporary employment as a research engineer for three months (1 June to 31 August 2022). The position is full-time.
