We’re looking for a researcher for a research track focused on the industrial context of the green and sustainable transition in Sweden, with an emphasis on technological development, investment decisions, and entrepreneurship. Research results are developed in close collaboration with industry and societal stakeholders.Subject Description Entrepreneurship and innovation encompass organizational development with a particular focus on business development based on innovative products, services, production solutions, or ways of managing and organizing operations.Project DescriptionThe research aims to understand the emergence of and consequences of entrepreneurship within the context of green and sustainable transition. Examples include investment decisions in various types of sustainable technologies, the ecosystems surrounding them, strategic choices, various types of hype and bubbles, and the positive and negative consequences when bubbles in the form of massive investments burst.

Job ResponsibilitiesYou will work in a research group and conduct scientific work in collaboration with others. This includes data collection and analysis, as well as co-authoring scientific articles.Your main responsibilities as a researcher include:- Authoring scientific publications, including data collection and scientific writing. 

- Coordinating with project partners in academia, industry, and the public sector, both nationally and internationally.

- Planning and organizing workshops, meetings, and joint activities.

- Commercializing research results through, among other things, course development.

- Supporting the research team with data collection, analysis, and publication.

- Contributing to grant applications and national/international research initiatives.

- The position also includes teaching, advising, participating in seminars, and giving presentations at national and international research forums.Qualifications

To be eligible for employment as a researcher, a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship and Innovation or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a Ph.D. is required.You must have documented scientific expertise in innovation and entrepreneurship, with documented experience of publishing at least at ABS Level 3. In addition, documented experience with case studies, including qualitative data analysis, is required. Your research background must be in entrepreneurship and innovation or a related field. Experience with sustainability issues—for example, through transition studies, sustainability alliances between companies, and sustainability efforts within companies—is also a requirement. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to present research findings at academic events. In addition, you must have strong language skills in English and Swedish. Your English proficiency should be at least level C1, and your Swedish proficiency at least level B2–C1. Experience in stakeholder relations with regional and industrial partners is considered an asset. Experience publishing in practice-oriented journals relevant to the business community and presenting research results at practice-oriented conferences is also a plus.InformationThis is a full-time, fixed-term position for one year.
