We hope you will help us build the sustainable businesses and societies of the future. -with a focus on health management The position of Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy and Health Promotion with specialization in Health Guidance is located at the Department of Health, Education and Technology, Division of Health, Medicine and Rehabilitation. The department offers courses for occupational therapy and physiotherapy degrees, bachelor's programs in health counseling and psychology, and courses in medical science. Research and postgraduate education are conducted in the subjects of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Health Promotion, and Psychology. Subject description Physiotherapy and Health Promotion focuses on human movement and its impact on health and quality of life. The subject aims to identify and strengthen factors that contribute to an active and healthy life. It includes health promotion and prevention at the individual, group and community levels, as well as treating conditions that limit function, activity and participation. Job description Employment as Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy and Health Promotion with a specialization in Health Guidance includes being responsible for the development of the subject of physiotherapy and health promotion at undergraduate, advanced and postgraduate level. The position includes course responsibility, teaching, seminar activities, supervision and examinations. In addition, own research, supervision of postgraduate students, participation in research applications and building research networks. The position also includes active participation in collaboration with the surrounding community. Specific to this position is to conduct and develop teaching and research in physiotherapy and health promotion. Qualifications Qualified to be employed as a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy and Health Promotion are those who: - a doctoral degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent scientific competence - a Bachelor's degree in Health Guidance - demonstrated pedagogical skills and completed a higher education pedagogy course equivalent to 7.5 credits or otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge Other meritorious qualifications: - Skill and documented experience in the planning, implementation and development of teaching, supervision and examination in health counseling. Quality and originality in research in Physiotherapy and Health Promotion. - Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English and Swedish - Experience in applying for external research and development funds - Ability to inform about research and development work - Collaborative and social skills In addition, other factual grounds, such as the university's gender equality goals, must be taken into account.
