The Department of Health, Education and Technology conducts education at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level. The department provides education to nurse, radiographer, specialist nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, psychology and bachelor's degree in health guidance and psychology. Within the department, research and postgraduate education are conducted in the subjects of occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nursing and psychology.
Now the department of nursing and radiography is looking for a lecturer with a specialization in nursing who can teach on and the nursing program, the X-ray nursing program and the specialist nursing programs.
Description of subject
Nursing focuses on areas that aim to improve human health, prevent illness and disease and restore and maintain health, alleviate suffering and protect human integrity and dignity. Central areas are human and health, environment and nursing action and processes related to these areas.
Work tasks
The position as a lecturer at the Division of Nursing and Radiography means that you have course responsibility, teach, supervise, assess students during the internship and examine students at the undergraduate and advanced level. The teaching can, for example, consist of lectures, laboratory work, simulation and seminars. You meet the students here at the university and via online platforms. All teaching is in Swedish, so it is important that you master the Swedish language.
Qualifications
Eligible for employment as a university lecturer is the one who:
- Is a registered nurse with specialized training in district nursing
- Experience of teaching
Other meritorious qualifications:
- have clinical experience as a nurse
- have good cooperation skills, social skills and ability to work independently
- ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish

The degree of employment is 100% and limited to 1 year with the possibility of extension.
