About the position We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable person who can substitute as a theater technician at the Theater Academy at Luleå University of Technology. The temporary position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with acting students and contribute to their training and development. Work tasks As a technician at the theater college, you will work with many different tasks and below we list some of them. - Responsible for stage lighting and sound during the student actors' performances - Assisting with lighting and sound during rehearsals - Filming and editing student presentations - Overhaul and maintenance of technical equipment - Responsible for workshop and storage - Daily service and overhaul of premises, e.g. ordering and receiving goods, photocopying paper, coffee products, keys and access cards. - Collaborate with Norrbottensteaterns technicians. Qualifications Educational level, at least completed high school and relevant education with a focus on lighting and sound and a few years of relevant work experience and / or documented experience of light and sound assignments. - Experience working with lighting and technical equipment in theater - Experience with light tables (ETC Eos) and Quelab is a plus. - Good technical understanding and problem solving skills - Ability to work independently and in a team - Flexibility to work varying hours - Driving license B Scope and location The position is a full-time temporary position for one year.
