About the role

As an education administrator, you will be an important part of a work group of 30 colleagues and work in close collaboration with teachers, students and management. The tasks are varied and include, among other things:

  • Management and exercise of authority in education planning, exams, degree projects and grade reporting
  • Administration of postgraduate education and contract education
  • Active participation in the university's network of education administrators to develop common routines and working methods

There is the possibility of working partly remotely, by agreement.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of upper secondary education.
  • Documented experience in administrative work.
  • Good computer skills and ability to work in several different administrative IT systems.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
  • Experience of working in a rule-governed business and used to interpreting and applying policy documents, regulations and guidelines.

Advantageous:

  • Higher education degree in a relevant field (e.g. law, administration)
  • Experience of working in a university or college.
  • Experience of educational administrative systems such as Canvas, Epok and Ladok.

Personal qualities:

You are service-oriented, structured and have good collaboration skills. You have good judgment, are able to make well-balanced assessments in daily work and feel confident in communicating decisions and regulations in a clear and educational way. The role includes many varied tasks, which requires you to be able to plan, prioritize and handle several tasks in parallel.

Scope and location

The position is a full-time permanent position with location in Luleå. Access according to agreement. Probationary period may apply.
