About the Role

As a business developer at Luleå Energi, you’ll work to identify opportunities and turn them into concrete initiatives that strengthen the company’s long-term development. The role involves actively monitoring the business environment and analyzing trends, customer needs, market developments, and new business opportunities to help grow the business and create long-term value for the group. You will apply and further develop methods, models, and tools for innovation and business development, while also helping to refine our approaches to innovation, development, and change.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business ideas, services, and offerings, as well as driving feasibility studies, analyses, and development projects from concept to decision or implementation. You’ll work closely with colleagues from various parts of the organization and lead or contribute to development initiatives that create value and drive progress. An important part of the role is also to build networks and collaborate with customers, academia, public sector actors, and the business community to identify new perspectives, opportunities, and partnerships.

As a person, you are flexible, results- and delivery-oriented, and driven by creating long-term value for the business.

We expect you to have

• A college degree in, for example, engineering, economics, innovation, social development, or another relevant field.
• Experience in business development, innovation, strategy, operational development, or similar fields.
• Knowledge of methods and tools for development and innovation work.
• Experience with analytical work, change management, or project management.
• Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• A Class B driver’s license is required.
