As the world transitions, not only energy systems are changing. Governance, priorities and decisions must also be linked in new ways. As an energy company, we operate in a complex environment where business, social mission and long-term sustainability meet. To further strengthen the interaction between strategy, planning and follow-up, we are now looking for a Group Strategist.
More about the role
In the role of Group Strategist, you are the hub between business plan, operational plans and follow-up. You work closely with Group Management and business areas and ensure that our governance is coherent.
Your mission is to:
- Coordinate and further develop the group's business and operational planning
- Ensure that the governance model, target structure and follow-up work as a whole
- Act as qualified management support in analysis and planning
- Break down strategic objectives into concrete priorities and follow up on implementation
- Plan and lead strategy days, business planning days and other joint forums
- Train and support managers in governance model and working methods
- Making complex information understandable, communicable and usable
Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in the role, you have the ability to translate direction into practice. You are a confident and experienced facilitator who can operate in spaces where different perspectives meet and bring structure to complex discussions.
You work independently, take initiative and drive processes forward even when the conditions are not entirely given. You work in a structured way, create clear plans and ensure that goals, planning and follow-up are linked over time. You build trust, create consensus and work for the good of the group rather than individual parts.
Qualifications and training requirements
We see that you have a relevant academic degree in, for example, economics, political science, social sciences or organization, or equivalent that we consider equivalent.
You have several years of professional experience in strategic planning and management work or equivalent experience where you have worked with overall goals, planning and follow-up in a group context. You are used to working closely with management and supporting managers in analysis and decision-making. You express yourself very well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
It is an advantage if you have experience of:
- Corporate governance
- Public sector operations
- Change management
- Process development
- Facilitation of strategic forums
Knowledge of sustainability management is a plus.
