We are now looking for a Planning Manager for the planning department who wants to join our journey and together with us continue to develop Luleå's electricity network for an electrified future. The planning department works with planning and preparing plant investments that are carried out within Luleå's electricity network. We identify the needs, produce decision-making data and then plan and carry out technical feasibility studies for decided plant investments. The needs can be reinforcements, connection of business customers or reinvestments in existing facilities. We always work with qualitative and cost-effective technical solutions where customer focus is a matter of course. About the role As a department manager, you are responsible for planning in our distribution area and have staff responsibility for 8 employees consisting of planning engineers, planning technicians and a property law specialist. You will be responsible for managing and developing both staff and operations, including clarifying tasks and objectives, running and monitoring operations, and ensuring effective and committed teamwork. You will be responsible for short- and long-term investment plans based on financial and quality aspects from a sustainability perspective. You will work on business-critical issues together with your co-workers and managerial colleagues in other departments, creating the conditions for development and effective collaboration Furthermore, you will ensure that we comply with applicable safety, environmental and work environment regulations, that the department consists of the right skills linked to the business responsibility, and maintain and follow up short- and long-term business plans. You are also responsible for creating a learning organization with redundancy within the working groups. You report to the Electricity Network Manager and are part of the Electricity Network Management Team. You as a person As Planning Manager, we expect you to have a confident, present and communicative leadership. You are structured and clear in conveying expectations, while being responsive to both the group and colleagues. You are steadfast in your positions and have the ability to bring employees along towards common goals. You have a good holistic view and a problem-solving approach where you can weigh together input from several directions and transform it into well-founded decisions and sustainable solutions. You are an important part of the management team - you bring thoughtfulness, perspective and a more strategic approach to operational contexts. You are collaborative, unpretentious and bring new perspectives that develop both working methods and operations. You are used to working in processes and projects, see connections and find the common thread in flows and structures. Your willingness to change and develop means that you actively drive improvements and create order and clarity in complex contexts. Qualifications For this position, we look for you to have the following qualifications: - Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience deemed equivalent by the employer - Management experience or experience in leading projects, working groups or otherwise responsible for leading and coordinating people - Experience of having worked in infrastructure planning or similar type of work - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written - Good computer skills - B driving license It is meritorious if you have: - Experience of process-oriented work with a focus on developing flows - Industry experience or experience or knowledge of critical infrastructure What you get with us As an employer, we attach great importance to you being able to perform, deliver and develop, but also that you should thrive and feel good!
