HSE engineer

For our electricity network operations, we are looking for an HSE engineer who thrives in the business, likes to collaborate and wants an operational role where safety is always in focus.
About the role
As an HSE engineer at Luleå Energi Elnät, you will have a central role in ensuring that our projects and workplaces meet high standards of work environment, safety, quality and environment. You will work in close collaboration with the Group's expert resources in the field of work environment as well as environment, sustainability, safety and electrical safety.
The HSE engineer role's main focus is on interpreting legislation, translating regulations and developed routines into operational work and supporting our managers, project managers and operations in primarily the work environment area but also to some extent environment and safety.
The role also includes work with specific construction work environment coordination where you assist the project managers with what is needed and also in contact with contractors and other parts of the group.
You assist in safety rounds, work environment monitoring, participate in investigations and the development of action plans and with measures. Other operational work environment engineer work and environmental and safety issues are also included to some extent.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in work environment/KMA/HSE/HMS
- or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience.
- Good knowledge in construction work environment coordination
- Ability to express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing, interpret legal texts and instructions without hindrance.
- Good computer skills, in particular:
- IA systems
- Microsoft Office package
- At least a B driving license.

It is an advantage if you have
- Experience of working in the field of health and safety, environment and security.
- Previously worked with this type of issues in the electricity network business or the energy industry.
- Some years of experience in health and safety tasks, such as
- Owner's responsibility
- BAS P/U
- Collaboration in health and safety
