The Project Department’s responsibilities at Luleå Energi span everything from reinvestments in power lines and substations within local and regional grids to new construction, renovations, and expansions, as well as major connection projects for industrial and high-power customers. Would you like to lead projects critical to society and contribute to the development of the energy infrastructure of the future? Luleå Energi Elnät is seeking a project manager who wants to lead these projects in our power grid at voltage levels of 0.4–130 kV 

About the Role

In the role of project manager, you’ll have the opportunity to drive and develop investment and construction projects within the power grid operations—from concept to completion. You will be responsible for the projects’ finances, quality, schedule, and workplace safety, and will coordinate and lead the work among your colleagues, consultants, and contractors. You will also handle procurement, monitoring, and reporting, and contribute to the planning and coordination of commissioning for new construction, renovations, and expansions of the power grid.

Through effective planning and close collaboration with customers, government agencies, landowners, and other stakeholders, you ensure that projects are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

We are looking for someone who has

• Relevant post-secondary education in engineering, energy, construction, civil engineering, or equivalent experience deemed to be of equal value.
• Several years of experience in project management within energy, construction, civil engineering, or other technical infrastructure.
• Negotiation skills and experience with construction law.
• Knowledge of AB04, ABT06, and ABK09.
• Experience coordinating occupational safety and health in the role of BAS-P and/or BAS-U, or alternatively, a strong understanding of construction site safety and health practices.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budget and cost management.
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Class B driver’s license.

Experience with AMA/MER and work in the electric power and power grid sectors is a plus. We also welcome applicants who have gained project management experience in other technical fields and have a strong interest in developing their skills in the power grid sector.
