Then we have the role for you now when we are looking for a system administrator for the Technology and Network department at Lunet. Who are we at Lunet? Lunet builds the fiber network in Luleå and our goal is to create a future-proof and reliable infrastructure for everyone who lives and works in Luleå municipality. We build our network with leading technology at all stages and are also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the network. We work closely with our owner Luleå Energi, our partners, service providers and our customers, large and small. We are 19 employees and have an annual turnover of approximately SEK 80 million. What does the role of system administrator involve? In the role of system administrator, your mission will be to work with others in the business to ensure a functioning and qualitative production and support system environment. This means that you will participate in the planning of Lunet's system park, and help to ensure that our methods and guidelines for system management are maintained and complied with. Your duties will include implementing new systems and assisting with system customizations and delivering internal system support. Ensuring that integrations are carried out according to procedures and guidelines as well as technical requirements and evaluation of system and security solutions. You will also be involved in managing our server environment and its hardware and software platform and ensure that backup routines are followed. In the long term, you will be part of Lunet's emergency response organization. Education and merits The role requires post-secondary education, for example in systems science or other relevant IT-related education or equivalent knowledge and experience that we consider equivalent. You express yourself well in Swedish and English in speech and writing. A B driving license is a requirement. We would like you to have good knowledge in the following areas: - Linux and Windows operating systems - Databases - Data center/server virtualization and backup systems - Basic network technology (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN) Work experience in telecom, fiber, communications or similar areas is an advantage. If you also have general knowledge of advanced network technology, monitoring solutions, firewalls and programming, it is further advantageous.
