The family home unit is located in central Luleå with newly renovated and fresh premises. The unit that you will be responsible for currently consists of 10 social workers, 8 family home secretaries and one family home consultant. With us, we have good cooperation and a positive working climate. We work continuously to develop the business so that we can be as good as possible for those we exist for. Competence development is important to us and we provide, among other things, introductory training and leadership development programs. As manager, you also have well-developed support within HR and finance.

Within our operations, extensive development work takes place with children and young people in focus. We are developing a dynamic organization that includes service and efforts for children/young people and their parents. The goal is to develop a modern social service where we invest heavily in ensuring that all children and young people in Luleå have equal opportunities for good living conditions.
As a manager, you work with close, trust-based leadership where you inspire and motivate your employees to be involved in the business and take advantage of their commitment and competence.
The assignment includes, among other things:
• Responsibility for operations, employees, finances, work environment and union cooperation
• Follow-up and evaluation of the business
• To lead, manage and develop the business based on current agreements, laws and policies
• To achieve goal fulfillment with quality and economy in balance
• To promote good cooperation internally and externally
An important part of the mission is to market the business to attract and recruit new family homes.
To thrive and be successful with us, you need to have a genuine interest and commitment to children and young people and the ability to lead your employees in change. The role requires you to be attentive but also clear in your communication. You also need to be confident in handling difficult issues that arise within the unit.
Furthermore, you must have:
• Sociology degree
• Experience of social investigative work
It is advantageous if you have previous experience of working as a manager as well as experience from work in the area of family homes or children and young people. We also look favorably on whether you have experience and knowledge in marketing and are used to outreach work.
As a person, you must be confident, relationship-building and structured. In this process, we place great emphasis on personal qualities.
