We at MRM are growing and looking for an Economist / Project Controller

Are you a driven economist with a sense of structure, analysis and detail? Do you have experience in project accounting and want to work in a role where you can combine finance, project management and business development? Then you could be the one we are looking for!

About the role

As an Economist / Project Controller with us, you will play a central role in supporting the business with financial follow-up, reporting and analysis of our projects. You will work closely with the organization and management to ensure accurate financial flows and contribute to informed decisions.

Your main tasks

• Running bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Management of supplier and customer invoices
• Monthly and annual accounts
• Project accounting and follow-up of project results
• Analysis and reporting to project managers and management
• Budget and forecasting work
• System administration and development within project systems

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in finance, accounting or similar
• Several years of experience in financial work, preferably in project-intensive operations
• Good system experience, preferably experience of Next Project or equivalent project system
• Experience of sva, current accounting, monthly and annual accounts
• Very good knowledge of Excel and business systems
• You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
