Nammo is growing rapidly and will be hiring 1,000 new colleagues over the next few years. A summer job with us gives you the opportunity to try your hand in the defense industry, and perhaps lay the foundation for your future career.

In the summer of 2026, we are looking for students in design, analysis, chemistry, test, quality and process. With us, you get to work on real projects and experience how theory from your studies is used in practice. A summer job at Nammo is suitable for those studying at a university, college or vocational school.

Current background can be:

• Machinery, construction and operations

• Studies aimed at science and other engineering science lines

Work tasks

A combination of routine tasks and tasks related to projects and daily operations:

• 3D modeling, production of documentation of test setups, tools or structuring of existing production equipment in development projects or production programs

• Assist in improvement work and quality work of product and process

Through a summer internship in Nammo Raufoss, you will

• gain insight into a varied working day, understand how important collaboration is, and how it is to work across departments.

• Get good opportunities for learning and development.

• Connect with a network of others who have the same professional interest.

Our managers at Nammo Raufoss will arrange a start date based on when you are available. Adjustments will be made to any vacation weeks, and due to our own vacation schedule, you must be prepared to take two to three weeks of vacation in July.
