Are you the one?

Nammo's IT Security department is looking for you who are passionate about IT and security to handle an ever-increasing number of tasks and challenges related to cybersecurity in our European infrastructure.

About the workplace:
We can offer you an exciting and educational workplace in a young, growing and knowledgeable IT environment with a lot and broad expertise. The department has a good and close collaboration with the other departments both in Norway and elsewhere in Europe, which provides opportunities for both international cooperation and travel. A good culture, good cooperation and a good workplace mean that we are almost fully staffed at work every working day, even though we have flexible arrangements for working from home.

As an employee, you get to work with exciting systems, standards and, not least, people in a high-tech and unique industry. With us, you will help to further develop our security work within the group, and build the competence portfolio that will secure Nammo for the future.

About you:
We are looking for a reliable, structured and responsible professional who thinks value, quality and security at all levels. You have documented knowledge of cybersecurity and a few years of work experience in the field, so you can quickly participate in daily operations and assessments. You are tidy, keep a cool head and work in a structured way even when there is a lot going on at once. Giving presentations and explaining technical concepts and issues in English sounds more exciting than scary.

You always want to learn more, and are no stranger to attending courses, delving into complex documentation or traveling if necessary to solve a problem. When problems are solved, you are a good supporter and have good abilities to share knowledge with your colleagues both verbally and in writing.

Overarching tasks:

  • Participate in the daily work of improving, monitoring and securing our IT systems.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure good documentation.

  • Advise, assess and secure the acquisition of new IT and OT systems in Norway and elsewhere in Europe.

  • Advising, assessing and securing cloud solutions.

  • Operating and maintaining our security infrastructure.

Education, experience and qualifications:

  • You have a vocational certificate, vocational school or bachelor's degree in IT with a focus on security, possibly compensating relevant experience.

  • You have a few years of experience in operating security solutions locally and in the cloud.

  • You must be fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

  • You must be able to be security cleared at level "SECRET".

We offer:

  • Nice colleagues in an inclusive work environment.

  • Good opportunities for learning and development.

  • A working environment with a culture of making each other good.

  • A solid and safe workplace with competitive conditions.

  • Flexible working hours.

  • Good arrangements for pension savings, salary and parental leave.

Applications are processed on an ongoing basis.
