We are looking for a production planner / purchasing coordinator for Nammo Raufoss AS, department Aurskog. At our department in Aurskog, we develop and produce plastic and practice ammunition. We have modern production equipment and a high degree of automation. As a production planner/purchasing coordinator, you will have the overall responsibility for planning production and following up on progress with the individual departments. Together with the department managers, you will plan for necessary purchases and coordinate orders with our purchasing department.

About the role:

Your contribution will be to prepare robust production plans for the individual departments and follow up progress against the plan. When challenges arise in production or delayed deliveries from subcontractors, you actively seek alternative solutions to maintain good efficiency. On the basis of forecasts, you will prepare proposals for securing future critical components. Where we experience challenges with capacity or quality from subcontractors, you will help to identify alternative suppliers.

You will have a central role and provide input to both sales and the contract office in connection with offers / requests and contracts. Production planner handles our inbound and outbound logistics. Financial follow-up of orders and updating master data in the ERP system will also be part of your tasks.

We are looking for a structured and solution-oriented person who is self-driven. You must have the ability to make holistic assessments and be able to make necessary adjustments when needed. You take on challenges and actively seek solutions to maintain good efficiency in production.

To succeed, you must have good collaboration and communication skills.

The place of work will be Aurskog.

Desired qualifications:

  • MSc/BSc/Vocational school with subject area supply chain, machine or equivalent

  • . equivalent

  • Experience from a manufacturing company

  • Skills in production planning, logistics, ERP systems and MS Office

  • Good Norwegian and English skills in writing and speaking

  • Relevant experience can compensate for formal competence
