
Nammo's business segment Aerospace Propulsion, is looking for project managers for development projects and delivery programs for tactical missiles. Aerospace Propulsion (AP) is the business unit of Nammo responsible for propulsion systems (rocket engines) for tactical missiles and aerospace.

To succeed in the position, you are independent and work structured and efficiently. You are passionate about project management as a profession, you understand financial management and enjoy leading people. You will be responsible for the planning, execution and completion of our technology, development and production projects. This involves extensive collaboration with internal and external professional environments, customer contact and financial responsibility.
Ballistics, thermodynamics, electronics, chemistry and materials technology are some of the disciplines included in our projects. Knowledge of one or more of these areas is an advantage, but there is no requirement for in-depth knowledge as a project manager. Training will be provided.
Tasks:
Mobilize and lead the project team in a matrix organization, structuring work packages, planning and execution in accordance with contract and internal processes
Responsible for project finances, progress, risks and compliance with technical requirements, as well as reporting internally
Coordinate internal and external activities, including contract management, development, procurement and production, as well as industrialization and improvement activities relevant to the project
Responsible for deliveries according to contract towards customers in the form of services (development) and deliveries of products, as well as support services throughout the product life cycle
Communication with customer representatives for the contract
Support Business Development in the preparation of offers
We are looking for you who have:
Higher education at preferably bachelor's or master's level in technical subjects, possibly economics, management, or innovation
Experience from project management in technology or manufacturing business.
Long experience in project management in the manufacturing industry can compensate for lack of formal education
Solid interest in technical, interdisciplinary issues
Fluent Norwegian and English, written and spoken is a prerequisite
Knowledge and understanding of risk management is an advantage
Knowledge of Prince2 and/or LEAN as a methodology is an advantage
