The NDT (Non Destructive Testing) department consists of 22 employees, all of whom are certified in the NDT profession.

The department checks almost all products Nammo Raufoss produces, either in automated facilities or manual testing.

The department also takes on external assignments in the local community and the Mjøs area.

In this position, you will help to ensure that what we produce in Nammo Raufoss has the right quality.

You will be able to help develop processes and methods within the subject area so that manual and automated processes are in accordance with LEAN, but also take into account safety.

You will be able to contribute with your good mood and good solutions in everyday life.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Quality control of products and components with radiography testing, magnetic powder, penetrant, eddy current and ultrasonic testing

  • The position may include analog and digital techniques in radiography, digital and automated ultrasound systems and magnetic powder and penetrant testing on-site (out in production) and in-house (in the department)

Qualifications:

  • Good technical understanding is an advantage

  • A certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering is an advantage, but not a requirement

  • Applicants should have knowledge of and/or interest in quality control

  • Knowledge/experience in the use of computer tools, eg. Knowledge/experience using computer tools, e.g. text, image processing and spreadsheets

  • English language skills, written and oral

  • Sight and color vision requirements

  • The position will require you to be certified according to international standards for working with NDT testing, and you must be willing to complete the necessary training internally and externally.
