Nammo Raufoss is a key player in European aerospace and has secured several significant contracts.

To strengthen our capacity, we are now looking for a development engineer within testing (AIT - Assembly, Integration and Test) and development of GSE (Ground Support Equipment).

The position belongs to the business unit Aerospace Propulsion, in R & D (Research & Development), more specifically the Test Engineering department, where we have just under 20 development engineers and project managers working on various projects in Nammo.

Test Engineering is one of six departments in R & D - and we are currently a total of approx. 200 engineers.

With us, you will be part of a highly competent professional environment working with advanced propulsion systems (propulsion).

You will have a central role in the development process and follow the products closely, from concept phase to finished qualified solution.

Tasks:

  • Development of test setups and test objects based on requirements and specifications.
  • Plan, execute and document tests and test campaigns.
  • Assembly/assembly and functional testing of test setups and test objects.
  • Further develop processes and test methodologies.
  • Be the project's link to our internal and other external test centers.
  • Participate in technical customer meetings.

We are looking for you who have:

  • Relevant education in engineering/technical subjects (vocational school/college/university).
  • Relevant experience from test and project work.
  • Experience with space projects or other relevant work in aerospace is an advantage
  • Good communication skills, in both Norwegian and English.
