We are experiencing an increasing number of assignments with complex development programs, and are therefore looking for more skilled employees and group leaders for Test Engineering in R&D.
Test Engineering Ammunition is a central professional group consisting of 5 specialists, who work closely with testing, verification and qualification of ammunition products in demanding environments.
As a test engineer, you will have a central role in planning, conducting and analyzing tests related to the development of ammunition products.
Your main tasks will be:
Develop and improve test methodology for ammunition systems
Plan ballistic tests and qualification runs - and participate in their execution
Be a test engineering resource in the project team
Analyze analyze and assess measurement data from ammunition testing under demanding conditions
Document and present test results to project and customer
Contribute to risk assessment and verification strategies
Provide technical support to development and production projects in all phases of the development lifecycle
As a team leader, your tasks will be, in addition to the tasks as a test engineer:
Personal responsibility for the group
Health, environment and safety
Contribute to continuous improvement processes and further development of the group
Tasks in the development of the field and work process
We are looking for you who have:
Education in relevant engineering disciplines (BSc/MSc/vocational school), e.g. electronics, mechanics, materials technology or other relevant disciplines
Good collaboration skills
Good skills in Norwegian and English, oral and written
Experience with testing, verification or experimental work is an advantage - preferably within ammunition
Experience from project work
Leadership skills - desirable in the role of development engineer test
Experience as a leader is an advantage in the role of group leader
Both the position as development engineer and as group leader, knowledge of one or more of these areas will be an advantage:
Risk assessment

Reporting of test results
Environmental testing
Configuration management
Measurement engineering
Testing of electronics - with and without firmware (embedded systems and/or wireless systems (RF)
