Nammo Raufoss' department at Aurskog develops and manufactures plastic and practice ammunition, and has modern production equipment and a high degree of automation. We are now looking for a measurement technician for the test center at Aurskog, which today consists of a team of 6 committed employees.

About the role

As a measurement technician, you will be responsible for carrying out measurements and quality control of our products. An important contribution will be to carry out dimensional control and develop measurement techniques for our products, and you will interact with the production departments and facilitate that the quality requirements and function of the products are in accordance with current requirements. You will also have the main responsibility for the operation of our CMM measuring machine and prepare measurement methods with the necessary measurement programs.

Your tasks will include:

• Measurement of products

• Calibration of measuring equipment

• Develop measurement programs

• Define the correct measurement method for the different products

• Participate in destructive testing and other quality activities at the test center

• Contribute with professional support in project work

• Participate/support in test and development work

• Perform drawing review

The following experience and qualifications will be relevant:

• Experience with the use of CMM measuring machine and manual measuring methods

• Knowledge of/experience with PC-DMIS software or equivalent

• Knowledge of measurement technology and technical drawings

• Knowledge of MSA studies and SPS

• Good computer skills

• Good language skills in Norwegian and English, written and spoken
