Nammo Raufoss is growing rapidly, and is in strong development as an organization. The production organizations today consist of mechanical component production, explosives and ammunition production, rocket motor production, maintenance and testing. Production is also the owner of a significant portfolio of investment projects to develop and maintain our capabilities.
The position of Head of Manufacturing Engineering is a newly created position, and will lead the Manufacturing Engineering group, which in the start-up phase consists of 15 skilled employees. The employees will be divided into a project manager group and a technical group and focus on project implementation in the production environment.
We are looking for a manager who is skilled at both supporting and challenging their employees. The manager must also be technically competent and be able to contribute to the development of the company's production departments through projects in areas such as investments, improvements, industrialization, automation, sustainability and digitalization.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Personal responsibility for the department's employees.
Ensure compliance and development of Nammo's project management methods.
Ensure effective use of own resources in projects, and make cost/benefit assessments on the use of own or external resources in projects.
Assume delegated responsibility for Nammo Raufoss's compliance with machine regulations in internal machine building projects.
Owner of the investment portfolio and coordination of plans for this in production.
Assume industrialization processes between development and production.
Contribute to development and standardization in the selection of technical components and equipment in the company.
Participate in the design and implementation of strategies to develop production.
We envisage that you have:
10-15 years of relevant experience, preferably combined with a technical education.
Good knowledge of disciplines such as leadership, project management, digitization/automation in production and procurement processes.
Good knowledge of industrial production.
Good Norwegian and English skills, verbal and written
