We are looking for an operational manager who can coordinate 15 process engineers in a technical environment where safety, efficiency and innovation go hand in hand.

Who we are

Nammo is a cornerstone company in the industrial park at Raufoss with over 1500 employees. We are part of an international group that develops and manufactures the technological equipment of the future for civilian and military customers. Our explosives department consists of a number of production processes, from hand assembly to fully automated lines. We're growing and need someone who can help coordinate engineering activity to best support production.

Why will this job make sense?

As a team leader, you'll be responsible for coordinating a team of 15 specialized process engineers who solve complex technical challenges on a daily basis. You'll work closely with engineers who know the production processes well, and you'll seek out new technologies that can increase both safety and efficiency. You'll experience that the coordination and improvements you contribute to produce tangible results in production.

Tasks

• Staffing and personnel management

• Coordinate activity among the 15 engineers

• Ensure good utilization of resources and that the group has the right skills

• Keep good insight into the department's processes to support the engineers' work

• Seek out technology that can be used to increase safety and efficiency. that can be applied to increase safety and efficiency

We are looking for you who have

• Technical engineering degree

• Experience from goods manufacturing industry

• Strong understanding and interest in production methods and technology

• Knowledge of production in EX/ATEXenvironment is an advantage

• Knowledge of improvement work such as Lean or Six Sigma
