Nammo Raufoss AS wants to strengthen its purchasing team and is now looking for a proactive manager of technical purchasing. As a manager, you will be responsible for the technical purchasing function, consisting of 5 people today. The function is part of the purchasing department with 32 committed employees.

In the role of manager, you will be an important contributor, working in close collaboration with internal customers and our suppliers nationally and internationally. The position will report to the Director of Purchasing at Nammo Raufoss AS.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Management of the technical purchasing function.

• Purchase of services/indirect procurement, including investments as needed.

• Establishment of selected suppliers/categories.

• Active in the purchasing process through negotiations and preparation of contracts/agreements.

• Ensuring regulatory requirements, customer/downstream requirements and Nammo Raufoss purchasing policy.

  Education and experience

  • Experience from managing technical/mercantile personnel and/or operational units.

  • Economic or technical education.

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience from negotiations and supplier contact.

  • Experience from commercial and legal establishment of contracts/agreements.

  • Knowledge of the use of ERP systems.

  • High level of oral and written Norwegian and English.

  The position requires security clearance and an approved police certificate.
