Within the business area Aerospace Propulsion, we have about 200 skilled engineers working on the development of new products and follow-up of products already in production. The R&D department Systems Engineering, which currently consists of about 25 employees, is now looking for more systems engineers to be the technical leader in our development projects.

Responsibilities and tasks:
A systems engineer is responsible for ensuring that our products meet the requirements and needs of customers and other stakeholders. The system engineer is responsible for ensuring that this is done through quality-assured and systematic methods, cost- and time-efficiently, and throughout the product lifecycle. As a systems engineer, you are technically responsible for one or more projects, and together with the project manager you have close contact with the customer and partners.

You lead and coordinate the technical project work through the preparation and follow-up of specifications, plans, reports and other technical documents. A systems engineer will also have to assess, justify and approve choices and changes to products and documentation.

In the role, you must seek to solve challenges as they arise, but at the same time be able to see the long term and make the right choices over time. You will be well supported by experienced system engineers, and you will have great opportunities to develop in a very exciting technical role.

Desired qualifications:
To succeed in the task, you need solid technical expertise, and you must have, or quickly develop, good product understanding. You are able to see the big picture, and not least understand contexts and interfaces. You must also enjoy working with people and finding solutions together with others.

You are curious and willing to learn, and have an interest in and broad understanding of technology, production and product development. You probably have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in physics, chemistry, materials, machinery, design, aerospace or systems engineering. You preferably also have a few years of relevant work experience.

The position requires that the candidate can be security cleared by national security authorities.

Interviews and appointments will be conducted continuously, even before the deadline.
