The Aerospace Propulsion business area develops and manufactures advanced propulsion systems with applications in both defense and aerospace. We work with ramjet, liquid and solid rocket motor technology. As an engineer with us, you can work on products from the concept phase to series production. We have long-term development projects and a technical team you can really spar with.
About the role of Quality Assurance Engineer in our development projects:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer on our development programs, you will work closely with project management to ensure that our and the customer's requirements are implemented in all parts of the value chain and in all phases of the project, and you will be the customer's Point of Contact in all quality-related issues. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that we develop robust products and processes.
Your everyday life in brief:
Be responsible for the quality of the product from development to serial production
Maintain quality requirements in the project throughout the life cycle
Support the departments with deviation management, root cause analysis and improvement measures
Be the customer's point of contact in quality-related issues
Prepare and present quality documentation to customers
Facilitate deviation management and root cause analysis
Manage change proposals and feedback in the development process
You will fit in here if you have:
Higher education in engineering or other technical education that provides a good understanding of production and quality
Enjoy immersing yourself in technical/theoretical documentation
Have experience with quality work in industry or development environment
Have experience or good knowledge of methods such as SPC, MSA, D/P-FMEA, 5S and Lean
Have knowledge of AS9100 or other quality standards
Thrive with collaboration across disciplines and have strong communication skills
Are independent, structured and love to make things happen
