The Large Caliber Systems (LCS) business area is experiencing strong top-line growth and has several significant investment projects in process. We therefore want to strengthen our finance environment in Raufoss with an analytical and business-oriented Business Controller. LCS is a multinational business area with several locations in Europe and the US.

As Business Controller in LCS, you will be responsible for supporting the operational units, as well as helping to develop our analysis and controller environment. You will collaborate closely with various projects and units across the business area. You will report to the VP Finance LCS, and work closely with and support the other management in LCS.

Work tasks

• Be Business Partner for the different product areas within LCS
• Follow-up of finances and KPIs, preparation of financial analyses and decision-making basis, as well as ongoing reporting
• Be a key person in the preparation of analyzes and participate in improvement work
• Analyze profitability and work with improvement measures within various processes
• Further develop routines, processes and systems, and contribute to their implementation
• Assisting in quotation processes, supporting costing work, and helping to develop pricing strategies
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and participate in relevant projects

Desired qualifications

• Higher economic education, master's degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant experience from a similar role and/or larger consulting and advisory environment
• Experience with analysis, improvement and efficiency programs, ERP systems and data warehouses
• Good written and oral presentation skills
• Solid system competence/interest and good skills in Excel
• Good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian and English.
