The mechanical department at Nammo Raufoss is expanding its activities, and by 2027 will have two operational factories at Raufoss. Both factories have modern equipment, and innovation and automation will be a natural part of everyday life in both factories.

Due to the expanded activity, we are now looking for committed and proactive supervisors for several of our production areas for one of the factories. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for, among other things, HSE, staffing planning and implementation of production. The factory consists of 150 employees who produce ammunition components, aerospace components and rocket components. Production activities will initially take place with varied shift arrangements, where everything from 2 shifts to 4 shifts are used. Each shift is led by a shift manager.

Personal responsibility

As a supervisor, you will have daily responsibility for your employees in your production area. Daily tasks include following up shift schedules, recruitment, staffing and reporting according to KPIs. You will facilitate a good working environment, and ensure that the team you lead has the right skills and can continuously develop to help the mechanical department be competitive in the future.

Innovation

You will be part of an environment where future technology is developed and realized, and you will lead a team of skilled employees who operate new modern equipment in several different disciplines. The department has CNC machining, hot pressing processes, heat treatment, surface treatment and welding. Our company school is also organized under the mechanical department, and at the beginning of 2026, we have almost 50 apprentices in several mechanical trades. Together with support functions and the team you lead, you will participate in all the development processes that affect your area, as well as manage the activities to be carried out.

Who are you?

We are looking for candidates who have relevant experience and skills for the position, and who want to be part of a pleasant working environment where there are good opportunities for learning and development. Relevant background can be:

  • Technical college or other relevant education

  • Good Lean understanding and experience from team organization

  • Good Norwegian and English skills, written and oral
