We are looking for a skilled and experienced Development Engineer in electronics for our high-tech development team at Nammo Raufoss. As a central part of our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute from idea and concept development to fully tested and qualified solution in demanding environments.
Your tasks will include:
Design and development of safety-critical systems incl. sensors and control systems related to rocket engines. Design and development of safety-critical systems including sensors and control systems related to rocket engines and propulsion systems
Circuit design and layout of high-performance PCBs with requirements for robustness, EMC and thermal management
Integration and test of electronics in rocket and system solutions
EMC and ESD testing
Prototyping, troubleshooting and improvement of existing and new systems
Preparation of technical documentation and support for certification and qualification
Collaboration with mechanical, systems, analysis and design engineers in a dedicated development team
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics development
Experience in circuit design and PCB layout (Altium, KiCad, or equivalent), preferably in one or more of the areas:
Power supply design
Mixed Signal circuits
Analog sensors and instrumentation
EMC/ESD testing
FPGA
Experience with electronics for demanding or regulated environments is an advantage (f.e.g. aerospace, defense, aviation, oil & gas)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics, cybernetics, mechatronics or similar
Good oral and written skills in Norwegian and English
