Nammo is one of the cornerstone companies at Raufoss, with around 1,500 employees who every day contribute to developing and producing the technology of the future for the aerospace and defense industry. We are an international group with proud roots in Norwegian industrial history.
The test center at Bradalsmyra is one of Norway's most advanced test environments, where we perform and document tests in environmental simulation, ammunition and propulsion systems / rocket engines. The firing range group consists of about 50 skilled employees who carry out development, qualification and production tests, both for Nammo and for external customers.
About the position
As a process engineer in the firing range group, you will be a key person in the daily operations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes. You will follow up on the internal control system, participate in projects and drive automation and standardization of test setups. The role suits those who like to combine practical work with analytical thinking, and who are proactive when testing new products. With us, you will have a varied workday with different projects to follow up.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Ensure that we have sufficient quality of routines, methods, risk assessments and safety instructions.
Contribute to various projects so that the test center has the right capacity and capability to carry out various tests.
Continuous follow-up of HSE activities, measurement uncertainty, calibration and quality deviations.
Be an active contributor to the test center's improvement work (LEAN).
Participate in the planning and implementation of customer visits and demonstrations at the test center.
Qualifications:
Relevant higher education or vocational school education in industrial production, automation, etc.
Work experience from mechanics/electrics or other relevant technology.
Practical experience from projects or documentation of processes.
Knowledge of improvement work (6Sigma, Lean).
Good written and oral skills in Norwegian and English.
