Do you want to be involved in quality assurance of future defense technology? We are now looking for a quality assurance engineer for our test center at Bradalsmyra!

We are now strengthening the quality focus at Nammo Test Center and are therefore looking for a dedicated quality assurance engineer who will have a central role in ensuring compliance with procedures, verification of test equipment and actively contribute to continuous improvement work. The position involves close collaboration with technology developed for demanding defense customers, where precision, safety and quality are crucial to the results we deliver.

Nammo is a cornerstone company in the industrial park at Raufoss with over 1300 employees. We are an international group that develops and manufactures the technological equipment of the future for civilian and military customers. We do this, among other things, because our social mission is to ensure that the soldiers who do an important job have access to the right equipment.

We have two departments with over 40 skilled quality assurance engineers who work daily to ensure world-class quality and compliance at all stages - from development to fully tested product. You will work closely with colleagues who are passionate about precision and improvement, and at the same time have the opportunity to influence and develop processes in line with technology. In this position, you will work particularly closely with the Nammo Test Center, which is located 10 minutes drive from the industrial park. Your daily location will be at the test center, but you will organizationally belong to the QA department down in the industrial park. You will be involved in everything from complex ammunition to rocket engines of different sizes and different test scopes.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Quality assurance of the entire test process from test planning, to test procedures, test equipment, test execution, post-processing of data and results/reports

  • Follow-up of deviations and improvement measures

  • Contribute in risk assessments and failure analysis

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with test management, development and production

  • Documentation work and reporting according to. Documentation work according to defense industry standards

  • Monitor compliance with relevant certification requirements

We would like you to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electronics, instrumentation, quality engineering or related field - relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.

  • Candidates with knowledge of weapon systems are considered particularly relevant for the position

  • Have experience with quality assurance in industrial production or the defense industry

  • Have knowledge of AS9100 or other quality standards

  • Has experience with quality tools and process improvement

  • Enjoys collaboration across disciplines and has strong communication skills
