Nammo is in the process of building a new department for digitization, which will drive modernization and improvement of our work processes. In this connection, we are now looking for an experienced Project Manager who will have a key role in leading central digitization projects, from idea and establishment to benefit realization. The role provides great influence in an organization that is in strong development.
The projects can range from the introduction of new applications to upgrades or further development of existing solutions. The department is responsible for several of our most critical applications, including ERP, PDM and MES, which support our R&D and Operations environments. Your job will be to work closely with the line organization, Nammo IT and external partners, ensuring that we reach our budget and quality targets.
Main tasks:
Translate business needs into clear project mandates and associated Business Case
Report progress, finance and risks to the steering committee
Ensure that we have sufficient resources in the projects and necessary Buy In from relevant Stakeholders
Develop communication plan and keep the organization updated on what is happening
Ensure sufficient focus on change management and contribute with necessary support to the line organization
Develop plans for benefit realization, ensure good handover to management and follow up the realization of benefits together with the line organization
Follow up deliveries from external suppliers in the projects
Ensure good cooperation and anchoring with the steering committee, project participants, line organization, Nammo IT and external partners
Desired qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, business or technology. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
Project manager certification (Prince2, PMP or equivalent) is an advantage
Experience from leading major digitization projects (preferably in an industrial/manufacturing company) or as a consultant
Experience with different methods of project implementation (agile, hybrid, waterfall)
Understanding of how systems and processes are connected, including architecture and integrations
Understanding of change management and ability to drive implementation in a large and complex organization
Good English skills, oral and written
The position requires the applicant to be security cleared by the National Security Authority.
