Nammo Raufoss AS is looking for a committed Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to strengthen the purchasing team with quality-oriented work towards suppliers. As an SQE, you will have a varied everyday life with a focus on follow-up and development of our suppliers. A key task will be to ensure that our suppliers meet the requirements and expectations of the supply chain and verify this.
As an SQE in Nammo Raufoss, you will be part of a team consisting of both receiving inspectors and buyers, as well as collaborating with our quality assurance engineers.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Ensure that Nammo Raufoss' suppliers meet our quality requirements. This work is carried out in collaboration with the purchasing, quality department and the receiving team.
Manage and follow up on supplier deviations, including support in the work with root cause analysis, corrective and remedial actions
Conduct audits of suppliers, to identify possible areas for improvement
Maintain and standardize receiving procedures
Identify and drive improvements to procurement-related processes, procedures and best practices
Contribute with analysis, trends and reporting
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in technical subjects or equivalent, relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal competence
Experience from working in a manufacturing company
Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 and equivalent standards
Good Norwegian and English skills (oral and written)
Understanding of downflow of customer requirements to subcontractors
