Nammo is a cornerstone company in the industrial park at Raufoss with over 1400 employees. We are an international group that develops and manufactures the technological equipment of the future for the defense industry. This is an important social mission that ensures that the soldiers who do an important job have access to the right equipment.

Nammo Raufoss Test Center is a department consisting of approx. 50 people, who primarily work with testing products that Nammo Raufoss develops and manufactures. We are now looking for a solution-oriented operator who can contribute actively to the department, and who will be part of the shooting range group consisting of 20 people. This group helps to ensure that tests within the shooting of ammunition, blasting tests and fire tests are carried out in a safe and good way.

The department has well-equipped mechanical workshops that manufacture target material, as well as maintenance of weapons. All operators participate in the testing of products. We work closely with the Norwegian Armed Forces, as well as customers and suppliers at home and abroad.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Maintenance of infrastructure, vehicles and equipment

  • Preparation, implementation and post-processing of tests

  • Maintenance and follow-up, service and support of test equipment

  • Continuous improvement work

  • Workshop work and some field work outdoors

  • External assignments

Qualifications

  • We are looking for you who are accurate and have good technical understanding

  • Professional certificate/background in relevant disciplines, e.g.e.g. mechanics, welding or the Armed Forces

  • Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education

  • Desirable with EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) and / or unexploded ordnance clearance

  • Driver's license class B

  • General good computer skills

  • Good Norwegian skills are a requirement, and English skills are desirable
