At Nammo Raufoss, you will have a leadership role in a technology-driven department with an important social mission. We are looking for people who are motivated by developing people, creating direction and contributing to strong professional environments.

The design department in Aerospace Propulsion consists of about 80 employees. In this role, you will lead a group of about 20 engineers who work with design and development in both development and production projects within advanced rocket engine and aerospace technology.

You will be part of a management team that works closely together to ensure good operations, clear priorities and further development of the department. The role gives you the power to influence both how your team develops and how the department works in the future.

Your everyday work will include:

  • Lead, support and develop the engineers in the design department

  • be a driving force to build culture in line with Nammo's values

  • facilitate employees in the department to deliver efficiently and accurately into projects

  • resource incoming tasks and projects

  • develop and maintain work methodology and collaboration across the design department

  • contribute to skills development and experience sharing among employees

  • have personnel responsibility and safeguard HSE

  • assist in recruitment processes and onboarding of new employees

We are looking for you who have:

  • Engineering degree (BSc, MSc) in industrial subjects. Other relevant education/experience may also be relevant

  • relevant management experience, preferably from industry

  • experience in design work or product development is positively emphasized

  • experience in improvement work
