Nammo Raufoss is growing fast these days and R&D ammunition is expanding with two new managers for each department. One manager will lead a newly created department, while the other will replace a current manager in another department. The departments consist of dedicated and high-performing engineers within ammunition technology, electronics, mechanics, chemistry and metallurgy. The positions report to the Director R&D Ammunition, and are part of the management team.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Organizational planning and resource planning

  • Personnel and financial responsibility for the department

  • Follow-up and reporting on KPI's

  • Professional guidance, management support and training

  • Development of work methodology and collaboration with other departments

  • Drive continuous improvement work in the department and through the R&D management team

Qualifications:

  • MSc or BSc in relevant technical field. Other relevant education/experience may be considered.

  • Relevant experience and/or interest in managing and developing employees

  • Relevant experience from product development, production and technical management is desirable

  • Good Norwegian and English skills, as well as good communication skills
