To succeed in the position, you are self-motivated and work in a structured and efficient manner. You are passionate about project management as a profession, you understand financial management and enjoy leading people. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and closing our technology and development projects. This involves extensive collaboration with internal and external professional environments, customer contact and financial responsibility.
Mechanical design, materials technology, chemistry, electronics and ballistics are some of the disciplines included in our projects. Knowledge of one or more of these areas is an advantage, but there is no requirement for in-depth knowledge as a project manager. Experience from industrial production is an advantage but not a requirement.
Training will be provided.
There are currently various project manager roles we are seeking to fill:
Product Development Project Managers
- Development of new products based on known technology (TRL/MRL 5-8)
Technology Development Project Managers
- Maturation of new and unknown technology with the goal that the technology can be included in product development (TRL/MRL 2-5)
Qualifications:
Higher education at preferably bachelor or master level in subjects such as economics, management, innovation or technical subjects
Relevant project management experience can compensate for lack of formal education
Solid interest in interdisciplinary issues
Knowledge and understanding of risk management is an advantage
Knowledge of Prince2, LEAN and SixSigma is an advantage
Experience from manufacturing operations is an advantage
Fluent Norwegian and English, written and spoken
Personal characteristics:
You work well both independently and in collaboration with others and have a high personal integrity / sense of responsibility
You enjoy acquiring new knowledge and are happy to share it
You communicate well and make necessary decisions
You have good leadership skills and are able to build good relationships
You have good digital skills and are familiar with the use of project tools, such as Jira
