Nammo Raufoss is rapidly growing and we are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager for the business area Aerospace Propulsion. You will have the operational quality responsibility for our development and production programs, and lead a department of around 30 competent quality assurance engineers.

The department currently has one team leader with personnel responsibility for parts of the team. We are also planning a new team leader role with responsibility for training and professional development - an important initiative to ensure the quality of our services and products.

This is a key leadership role with a major impact on how Nammo develops products, processes and quality systems for future solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Overall personnel responsibility for the Quality Assurance department

  • Quality responsibility for our products within the business area Aerospace Propulsion

  • Follow-up and reporting of quality related KPIs

  • Overall responsibility for product certification

  • Ensure efficient operation and further development of the department

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of internal and external audits

  • Collaborate closely with the development and production environments to ensure compliance and improvement of the management system

We are looking for you who have:

  • Higher technical education in technical subjects

  • Relevant experience in quality management or quality assurance

  • Experience from industrial production is an advantage

  • Competence with quality standards such as AS9100, AQAP or ISO9001

  • Good understanding of systematics, risk management and continuous improvement
