Nammo Raufoss is growing rapidly by the day and R&D ammunition is expanding with a new manager to a brand new department. The department will consist of our new tool factory, which consists of a mix of operators and engineers in a smaller mechanical environment. The tool factory will make prototype parts, small series production and further development of future production methods for the entire Nammo Raufoss. The position reports to the Director R & D ammunition, and is part of the management team.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Personnel and financial responsibility for the department

• Follow-up and reporting on KPI's

• Professional guidance, management support and training

• Drive continuous learning and development of work methodology, and collaboration with other departments

• Drive continuous improvement work in the department and through the R&D management group

• Create a team with a common cultural understanding of HSE, production and development

We are looking for you who have:

• BSc in relevant technical field. Other relevant education/experience can be considered.

• Relevant experience and/or interest in leading and developing employees

• Relevant experience from product development, production and technical management is desirable

• Good Norwegian and English skills, and good communication skills
